What’s New

DESIGNERS CONNECT 2024 hosted by the Hong Kong Design Centre, successfully concluded on November 29. The event brought together participants from the Fashion Incubation Programme (FIP) and Design Incubation Programme (DIP). This year, the event also included a showcase of graduates from another Hong Kong Design Centre initiative, the Digital Economy Accelerator (DEA). A total of 25 designer brands showcased their creations across various design disciplines, fashion, jewellery & accessories, product design, interior/ architecture design, branding/ packaging, visual/ spatial arts, media & communication.  

The event attracted over a hundred professionals from the design industry, business representatives, and FIP, DIP, and DEA designers and alumni. Designers introduced their unique concepts and brand strategies to the guests, fully showcasing Hong Kong's distinctive creativity and innovation during the event. The event facilitated interactions among designers from the three major programmes (FIP, DIP, and DEA), bringing together creative ideas from different disciplines and sparking more inspirations. It also provided a platform for direct interactions between designers and industry leaders, buyers, and potential partners, fostering relationships within the design industry and promoting business opportunities.  

Looking ahead, DIP will continue to host more activities to promote creative exchanges. Stay tuned!
