HIR Studio is a Hong Kong architectural design team with a passion to create unique and inspiring spatial design. Founded by this year ’s HKIA Young Architect Award Winner Irene Cheng and Perspective 40 under 40 award winner Howard Chung, our team aspires to create visionary designs which inherit our virtues in creating innovative, artistic and sensual design, and to explore the public realm with local flavors and characters .
At HIR studio we are inspired by both the past and the present as sources for contemporary interpretation and seek to explore how people can actively participate and communicate with the environment. Our works have received numerous awards. The team is coined “rising stars in architecture” by publications such as Construction+ Magazine and Perspective Magazine.
